We are a growing church continually searching for new ways to reach our community, engage with people and spread the gospel. Our church encourages people to find their place and use their gifts for the glory of God. We offer different ministries for everyone hoping we can all draw closer to God together.

Children's Ministries

Come on an amazing adventure to learn about Jesus and all he has for you.

Right now, we have Sunday Schools classes and kid's nights about every other month on a Friday night. We also do an annual Kid's Crusade.

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Youth Group & LIFE Program

Come check out our all new youth group and learn how God can make a difference in your life. Discuss your experiences with young people like you and see how others handle pressures that life throws at you.

We also have Thursday night LIFE Program. Builders for the boys and Bloom for the girls. Teaching not only God's word but life skills.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Sunday School

We offer adult Sunday school every Sunday morning at 10am. Sunday school is a place to learn biblical truths and be able to ask questions. It is a time to grow in your knowledge of the word of God.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Nursing Home Ministries

Green Pastures Baptist Church has the privilege of serving at several different nursing homes. We believe it is important to bring the gospel to all people in all walks of life.

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age...

What are our Thursday Night boys and girls groups?

The groups were put together for grades 6th through 12th to teach not only what God has to say about things, but also life skills that the boys and girls can take with them for years to come.

BLOOM: The girls do cooking, crochet, how to balance a check book, how to study and make an outline to changing a tire and filling out an application.

BUILDERS: The boys are learning to work with tools, visiting our local law enforcement and appreciating our service members. They are learning life applicable skills while being taught biblical principles.

Not only is this about learning God's word, but it's also a mentorship program designed to teach leadership and how to work as a group to solve problems. We want to build strong Christian foundations and friendships that will stand the test of time.
